The Advanced Technical Intelligence Center for Human Capital Development (ATIC) is a not for profit corporation that was established in 2006 to generate the national intellectual capital needed to respond to the advanced technologies that are currently under development. ATIC's mission is to develop the advanced technical intelligence workforce of the future by providing training and education to all.

Our vision of being a national center of excellence for Advanced Technical Intelligence is being realized through the unparalleled programs being offered. Students are participating in many educational and training opportunities, such as ATIC’s Analyst Boot Camp, degree and certificate programs in Advanced Technical Intelligence from Clark State and Sinclair and a degree and certificate program in Cyber Security through the University of Dayton.

With Dayton’s unemployment rate holding steady at nearly 14%, ATIC is pleased to provide workforce development opportunities that address critical human capital shortfalls within the DoD. Many of our graduates are finding jobs due to the training and qualifications received. ATIC promotes the qualifications of ATIC graduates to our industry and government partners.

ATIC short courses cover fundamental and specialized topics including Fundamentals of the IC, Critical Thinking Skills, Technical Writing & Briefing Skills for the IC, Geo-Political Implications, Intro to Cyber Threat, Fundamentals of GEOINT, and Analytic Software tools. Specialized instruction includes a wide variety of Intelligence Analysis topics including: OSINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, Terrorism, and hands-on training on many state-of-the-art software tools, like MATLAB and ArcGIS Desktop.
